Welcome to my blog! Well, I finally went to see Tina Turner on November 16, 2008 at TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, MA! While Tina was as great as ever, I was less so - I sat TERRIFIED during the whole show because of my seat in the balcony! I don't know what came over me, but from the start of the concert till the end, I couldn't bear to look down much. I was able to see the stage for the most part, but had some sort of fear of falling or something. My hands were sweating throughout the performance! The balcony seats were really steep. I have a some what fear of heights, but this time was crazy, considering that, several years ago, I sat in a similar balcony position at another Tina Turner concert with no memorable ill effects at all! Welcome to my blog! As the baseball trading deadline inches closer (July 31), a lot of tongues are wagging in Boston and Red Sox Nation about what to do with Manny Ramirez. Should he be traded or hung on to until the end of the season then let go (his contract expires this year)?? If he's not traded, will he play his best for the remainder of the season or "call in sick" as he did last weekend against the New York Yankees?
