Welcome to my blog! This Sunday, February 7, 2010, is Super Bowl Sunday. The NFC Champions New Orleans Saints will be facing the AFC Champions Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl 44. I am rooting for the New Orleans Saints. They had a great year - winning the first 13 games in a row. This will be their first ever Super Bowl appearance. They remind me a bit of the 2007 New England Patriots with their high-powered offense, though the offensive juggernaut of the first half of the season didn't quite carry over to the second half. They did get the job done though. They have a bit of a Cinderella aura surrounding them ever since Hurricane Katrina. I'm not that great at making scoring predictions, but I'll say the Saints win by 3 points (a field goal). So - tell us your thoughts about Super Bowl 44 - are you watching? Who's gonna win? Welcome to my blog! As part of the radical progressive agenda of this President and his allies, Global Warming has taken center stage in their attempt at subjugating us into socialist submission. By spreading fear and falsehoods, the progressives hope to throttle business and  real human progress - the kind of progress that has extended our lifetimes and cured many illnesses (though, of course, those advances have created their own problems in some instances).  As was the case with the Global Cooling scare of the 1970s, the current Global Warming hysteria is basically hogwash. Welcome to my blog! As I mentioned yesterday, I'll be highlighting various Web sites, books, etc that will help move our country back  to the capitalist path and off the socialist path that we are currently on. Today's entry in the "Join the Revolution" effort, as it's being called here, is U.S. Constitution For Dummies . I have just started reading this book, but can recommend it right away. As in all the "for Dummies" series, the information is nicely laid out in a clear easy to read format. Interestingly, the author is a South African British barrister! So that should make for an interesting read and viewpoint (a section is devoted to hot topics where he freely shares his opinions). Taking the country back requires a good grounding in where we've been and where we're headed. And there's no better place than to start than at the very foundation of our nation: the Constitution.
